Thursday BBQ Night at The Terrace Millenium Airport Hotel with Blues Brothers Tribute

I did not get a free Baskin-Robins ice cream nor Tim Horton's coffee being given away around Dubai after Dubai won the bid for Expo 2020 but boy I got something better than ice cream and coffee. It was a real treat to have watched the Illinois Blues Brothers Tribute last night at The Terrace Millennium Airport Hotel, I'm sold on the idea that it's their act whose all other acts must be judged. The energy of this duo is incomparable and they are really really good. The crowd just loves them and speaking of the crowd, The Terrace was full and was very busy last night, way to go, guys!

And yes they did not leave without a fan pic...I mean I didn't let go of them before having this photo here. Epic? I guess so!

Another thing grand last night was the spread prepared by Gozo Garden Restaurant for Thursday BBQ night. There are many options for your BBQ - there's marinated meat, chicken, and seafood with all different sauces.

You can also opt for a stir fry cooked right before your eyes.

The carving station reminds me that it was Thanksgiving Day and I thought of all the things I should be thankful for. I ordered a slice of turkey topped with cranberry sauce for a celebratory feel.

All fresh at the salad bar, very appetizing.

Here's what goes on my plate, BBQ, of course, steak and prawns grilled to perfection

some maki rolls, corn salad, some greens with butter-lemon sauce, and my turkey slice topped with cranberry sauce

The bigger plate had some grilled salmon wrapped in banana leaves, pasta penne with four kinds of cheese, barbacoa pork ribs, and mixed seafood then all were washed down with some refreshing orange juice.

All dinners must have good endings and my sweet tooth couldn't be any happier by the sight of these mouthwatering delights

Gozo Garden Restaurant is preparing every night a feast like this one and since it's Thursday it's BBQ night, at AED 149 per person including selected house beverages with live entertainment, you get the best deal.
